In this class you will learn how to use professional jewelry-making tools to practice techniques with wire, beads and chain. Using pliers, hammers, anvils and mandrels, you can also learn some light forging and other metal shaping skills to add to your creations. Each day of this camp students will learn something new to inspire making unique and beautiful works of jewelry out of a variety of materials. On our last day together at the end of the day the class will host an art show for friends and family. This gives everyone a chance to show off what they have made or experimented with. It's always a great time. As in every camp we spend time cooking and eating together. There will be a place on the sign up sheet to indicate any food allergies or restrictions your child might have and everything we cook is vegetarian.
